Gourd Lord Suibhne Geilt the Wild Bard 005

The latest in my series of Gourd Lords- this figure is four and a half feet tall. One of my largest "art dolls" to date. That is a real gourd that I have sculpted the face and some other features on- it is known as a "bule" gourd. The pipe I made as well from a gourd- and no it does not actually work unfortunately. I made his walking stick as well from briar wood and a limb that fell out of our silver maple after a very violent wind storm- a gift from my tree. His costume is hand stitched and cobbled together from various re-purposed items and remnants.
