Condemned by the Yard Faeries And House Spirits Association For Better Housing Commission as well as having been sighted by the Committee For The Eviction Of Earwigs And Other Icky Non-Fae Friendly Denizens, this birdfeeder was, however, given an award by the Goblins' Better Caves And Hovels Association for being naturally and unpretentiously decayed and derelict. I was gonna throw it out after many threatening letters and a few disturbing Goblin "awards"- one of which involved a mummified mouse corpse adorned with poisonivy wreaths- I decided otherwise after I was struck by inspiration and tried to reclaim it.

I "evicted" some rather surely earwigs and many feral centipedes from this derelict bird feeder. It was a long drawn out cleaning and reclamation process to get this thing "up to code" as it were.

[One word of advice, never store damp wood that has been outdoors for many years in a mold and fungus friendly area in a trash bag in a dark warm location....I have never seen a gray fuzzy sculpture of a house done entirely in mold and mildew. However, it did earn me yet another Goblin Award form the Goblins' Friends of the Arts and Night Terrors Association- GoFANTA. I won't even say here what that award was, but I pray it doesn't find it's way back to my house from the remote location where I left- er, stored it in....]
