....? In my studio...working. Trying to catch up on paperwork- which I fear and loath- and feeling a little...lost and without direction. I feel as though I can't dedicate the time I need to dedicate to all those places I try to have a presence On-line as well as do the actual work I am here to promote as well as play with everyone and also do all the other day to day things... I sometimes don't even know where to begin and I end up kind of running in place. Any one ever get that? Any one still paying attention to any thing I have to say and show? I have plenty to do but...I also feel quite disconnected from society these days- which may not be too bad some days if one simply reads, listens, or watches the news, but it can get to one as we are social creatures no matter how we feel or what we say- it's undeniable. Perhaps too much time cooped up in the studio while spinning my wheels and only half finishing everything that needs and wants to be done NOW.

I'm also, sorry that I have missed everyone's journals and have not yet responded to querries and comments- they are there in my In Box- glaring at me accusingly with raised eyebrows and hurt feelings, and all the art- let alone all the favs and new watchers, some of whom may have already removed me... Those myriad pieces of art work glare at me with open and unabashed hostility and resentment as if saying, "It isn't just all about you buddy! Who do you think you are!?"

I have the summer classes for kids coming up- teaching them to make their own Pine Sprites- and then this Fall I shall be teaching an adult course in miniature portrait busts done in polymer clay- if any one local to my part of Ohio is interested who is on DA here is interested, it will fill up fast as I will not be teaching a huge class.

I hope everyone is well, I should have a few things to post here if any one is still looking... That's it for now.

I knew we were kindred spirits man :D Jeremy Bret is the only Sherlock Holmes for me and the only one that has been dead on with the Sherlock Holmes from the stories.

You caught me on that one! I too, am a fan of the British comedies, and you get a cookie for catching my obscure references! :cookie:

I also like to use tid-bits from the Sherlock Holmes series with Jeremy Brent in them... :sherlock: It's very singular indeed!

A point of shame heehee yes it is irritating to find you are human and still able to be effected by total strangers!
I think im getting better with the photography. I have a clean backdrop now anyway. Some peoples work actauly looks better in photos I think.

Thank you for the fav and watch! You have a wonderful gallery!
*Boggleboy:iconBoggleboy: Mar 18, 2008, 2:17:17 PM
Yeah, although I have to say that I, too, can still be roused far too easily than I am willing to always admit. It is a point of shame for me, but I try conciously to avoid those situations any more as I can easily recognize them for what they are and can and will just walk away...most of the time.

Yeah, I have to agree on most of those points as far as what the sticking points seem to be on photographing my work. I'm getting better though...I think. It's like anything in art- if you have that certain something that one needs to have to be a real artist, from there out it is then a matter of practice.

:aww: Well thank you! The world of the sculptor is indeed a whole other world in and of itself. The world of a figurative sculptor and art doll maker like myself is even outside of the realm of the typical sculptor as you really have to learn how to do a little of everything. But I love it!
